Health Talkies: Inaugural Episode

TheaCare (previously Women's Health Line) was happy to host it's inaugural edition of #HealthTalkies: a series of videos & FGDs on selected unspoken issues. We were thrilled to host author, blogger & columnist Madhulika Liddle, feminist scholar, author & activist Dr. Bijayalaxmi Nanda and writer & social commentator Kiranjeet Chaturvedi for a freewheeling conversation on women, ageing, and body image. We unpacked numerous health issues women face as they age (that they don't know about); women's bodies essentialised as tools for the reproductive agenda, and its deep-rooted emotional & inter-generational impact; hysterectomy, UTI, vaginal dryness, vaginal reconstruction (?); and the host of issues we DON'T talk about when we talk about women as they age. We hope to expand spaces for intersectional & inter-generational conversation further.
