While there is no set routine that as such, there are some circumstamces under which you must absolutely visit a gynaecologist, such as painful periods and/or painful intercourse. Also, consult your gynaecologist about regular pap smear tests and your HPV vaccine. Besides that, it depends on your personal medical history. If you have a history of PCOD/PCOS, try to undergo regular ultrasounds and discuss results with your gynaecologist.
