What factors should be kept in mind or observed while evaluating your mental health practitioner ?

I feel the the individual must not be judgemental, or have a patriarchal mindset. They also need to have integrity. These qualities cannot be compromised upon, at all costs. Last but not the least they must not put you on medication (unless absolutely necessary), but try and help you heal by looking at the root causes. My two cents!
